I think this shot shows a Maverick Helicopter just prior to take off. My shutter speed was set fast, and I’m impressed I was able to catch the blade in stop-motion.

The cool thing about Maverick Helicopters South Rim operations is they let you get real close to the aircraft. It amazes me just how little space these copters need to take off. What you see is what you get. The pilot flies in and hovers to the slab and gently let’s the craft descend. It’s a trip.
